THE MAKEUP PRODUCTS I ALWAYS FIND MYSELF REPURCHASING

As much as I want to be adventurous with makeup I tend to stick to the same kind of products I've always trusted. I mean why replace something when its not broke?  I do tend to switch up things from time to time when I see someone rave about a product so much then I will buy it

Learning what makeup suits your skin best can take soo long! In-fact its a never ending process. I have found holy grail items that I use for my “everyday” makeup look. I've used them for 2 years and still repurchasing them up-to today. I am truly and utterly obsessed with them. These are the must have for me. I have never not had them in my collection for the past 2 years.

 

MAC PREP+PRIME.
Its a classic and a big hit for a lot of people.
Its priced at £18.00 which considering how long it lasts isn't to extreme. All products will be linked.

 PREP+PRIME
Mist of water packed with vitamins, minerals, infused with a blend of green tea, chamomile and cucumber to gently soothe and leave the skin feeling refreshed.
I grab this everyday for making pigments look more intense. Such as eye shadow and highlights.
I also spritz is all over the face once complementing my makeup look.


 

 NARS CREAMY RADIANT CONCEALER.

I've raved about this product before and will continue to. Its my go to concealer I have the shade 'chantilly' the lightest of the whole collection. Its amazzzing! Really I cant get enough of what a lightweight yet such a good coverage this thing is! Its ranged at £23.00 from NARS.





MAC STUDIO FIX FLUID.
Again this is another go to for so many people are for me. I had no plan of loving this as much as I do. When purchasing it nearly 2 years ago I wasn't expecting to be impressed. I mean 50% love the other 50 hate. I was surprised as my whole take on MAC foundations was they would break me out and leave my face feeling like I had just applied a paint tub, lol. Its so lightweight and if your like me and want good coverage everyday its perfect! No regrets. None atall . £23.50 from MAC

NARS BRONZER IN LAGUNA.

Another NARS product. I cant get enough of the brand. This is my go to bronzer and I am yet to find one I love like this. Its easily buildable but if your looking for that effortless look it also has that. I know so many people who love this and use it religiously like me. The best thing about it is that it suits all skin types from pale skin like me all the way to really dark. Cult classic and award winning, need I say anymore?

Nip + Fab

Nip + Fab are one of my all time favourite skincare brands. Since discovering last year I cannot get enough.. seriously.  I have noticed a lot of controversial over the brand especially surrounding the 'glycolic' range.

Like everything in this world it will work for some and not for others. I spent a good 5 months with having yes and no days with the glycolic range .. and I love it. I got my hands on some of their other pads and thought to do a little review because I love them so much! I'm going to go as far and say the brand is a real game changer.  Yup.


 Glycolic fix daily cleansing pads
The stand out ingredient is obviously the acid. Glycolic acid if you didn't already know is used quite regular in the industry today. From facials and skincare products that really produce results some people have been searching a long while for.

Glycolic is amazing at removing those dreadful, dead dull skin cells to reveal your new layer of fresh looking skin.

Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) from sugar cane extract. The pads are 2.8% glycolic acid. It isn't too much or too little - its just the right amount that your skin could probably handle if your using them most nights like me. My skin is really sensitive and the pads seem to do amazing.  Some people seem to have a problem with their being fragrance / alcohol in the products. But unless your turning your whole skincare into a new road then what really doesn't have fragrance and alcohol in anymore? I'm pretty sure the pollution is more bad for the skin ..


Glycolic fix night cleansing pads extreme




Basically take all I just said about the milder pads apart from the extreme pads have more glycolic in of course! This being a high 5% also included is salicylic acid to help unclog the skin. I don't use them every night maybe 3 times a week. I also must mention never forget SPF even if its not the sunniest of day the sun is still their and can get you through the clouds! Revealing a new layer of skin will also make you more prone to the sun really getting to your face.

Its chalk and cheese. Some people say they are wayyy to sensitive while others say they have tried more extreme. 







Bee sting fix toning pads

I mean if you've got bee venom in your products we are defiantly talking business. Its a natural product and has worked amazing for so many years. (DONT KILL A BEE IF YOU SEE ONE, THANKS!)

These pads are aimed to hydrate, firm and plum the skin. The pads also have the amazing ingredient of witch hazel which has also been around for many years. It tightens the pores while really getting in deep to the skins barrier.  I love these pads to wipe over my face before applying makeup! I feel it gets my makeup routine ready and makes me glow.  You cant go wrong .. and after a week of using my pores are soo much smaller! Its a miracle really (thanks bees)



Ok, last one!
Teen skin fix breakout rescue pads.

Ok so lets not take the word 'teen' too much into this. As yes it is a range that is safe for teens young skin that is still developing .. but also good for us adults with really sensitive skin!!
I noticed so many older people trying the teen range out because its not to strong or overboard.

With a slight more subtle approach they include wasabi extract which again is a natural product to help fight against all the bacteria are skin is faced with every single day. They still have salicylic acid but lets not forget that salicylic is present in certain plants... so no harm.

I really like these pads for when I think my skin needs a little breather from my skin care routine.


So, Final thoughts?

I love all the pads nip and fab offer. I have yet to try dragons blood and kale pads.

Work motivation

We are 15 days into the new year.. which is going super quick its crazy. I set myself a few new year targets .. not so much the typical resolution but things I want to do in the long run.

One of the things was to be more dedicated to spend time on things I really love to do with my blog .. having a full time job makes it hard for me to spend a lot of time on my blog and replying to emails which makes me upset as I love it! Its a passion ..


I have marked two days a week where I can sit and focus on my blog, emails and everything surrounding this. So far its been good and I'm really pleased! If you did set yourself goals that maybe you aren't achieving to your expectation don't beat your self up about it!

Repairing my hair from vaction heat damage; Coconut Water

After my vacation and a whole lot of sun my hair has been really dehydrated since coming back!
I miss the sun soooo much! But don't think my hair does. I have had a collection by OGX for a while now and been for the right moment to test them out. This was the perfect time to put the weightless hydration coconut water to the test.

Not only does the range smell amazing it has really made my hair back to its silky soft self.


The coconut water range includes shampoo, conditioner and a hydration oil.

What a perfect setting for this photo! Haha I am obsessed... a few days before returning home I started using the range as my hair was getting really dried up and I was so angry and at a loss of what to do!!  That's when I remembered I packed this set!

After 3 days of using the shampoo and conditioner my hair really improved the texture and the hydration was semi-what back.  To see the full effects it took about a week for my hair to be back to normal if not better and more shiny!! Also I was shopping in some local Mexican shops and I spotted some of the OGX range! I was literally like "what" "omg" I was super shocked to find it in the least most expected place! How awesome is that?!

What really made me love this brand and struck me is about the ingredient list on the bottles of these shampoos and conditioners is how little ingredients they have in. This is a good thing! It means the formula isn't packed with excessive chemicals and preservatives that a lot of products are.

We have all been hyped over coconut ingredient in everything! From skincare to even food! Coconut has got all your problems sorted! I kid you not my hair has never been as silky smooth! Everyone  has been commenting on it!




The hydration oil


 

Using oils/mists always worries me if they flatten the hair or make it look greasy. I use this before going to bed so in the morning it has all soaked in. Other times I use it is when I want more of a shiny look to my hair when I have a certain style in.


I really recommend the whole of OGX range not just coconut water! I have tried a lot of the range and so impressed!

OGX beauty

New hair products are always something I love finding, especially if they work and become my new favourites! Before putting OGX to the test I had previously noticed them on shelf's in my local supermarket. Little to say I never picked one up as I thought sure they have pretty packaging but highly doubt the product works. Ok I was wrong.. and that was silly of me. To put in context judging a book by its cover!! (sorry ogx hehe!)

OGX is one of the most fancy looking hair care brands around  with a huge range of hair products ranging from shampoos,conditioner and hair mists etc.

I have tried the Vitamin B₅ range and ProVitamin B to help nourish the inner layer of every strand with moisture, while helping to rebuild damaged areas to give your hair a healthy, vibrant glow as everyone wants!

I am yet to try the other ranges as of yet! But reviews of them all will be coming when I have had chance to test!



                                             So what do I think of the vitamin range?

I fell in love after the first use of the products! They smell amazing and have made my hair (as they promised) healthier with a vibrant glow! OK lets be honest here does anyone every look at their hair and think wow this product is amazing!? Or do you just think sure my hair looks better than normal ...

With OGX I noticed the difference so quickly, my hair look 100 times more healthier and shiny! I literally sat in the mirror looking for a good 10 mins at how it changed it after a few uses. Little to say I have gone through the whole bottle without second thinking it!

 

There are a huge number of varieties in the OGX range, so you will defiantly find something for your hair!

Caolion Premium Blackhead O2 Bubble Pore Pack

 If you haven't head of the brand Caolion head straight to their site to check them out! So many people have been raving about the products lately..

Caolion sent me the Premium Blackhead O2 Bubble Pore Pack and after hearing so many good things I couldn't wait to try it out.

The formula has micro oxygen bubbles that gently cleanse pores and helps eliminate dead skin cells.
I love the packaging so simple but so cute!

 

As you can see the formula looks kinda messy and all over the place.

It has charcoal powder to cleanse blackhead or whiteheads, which also is a natural buffing grain to exfoliate the dead skin cells. The substance isn't rough on the skin more smooth than rough.


So this is what the pack looks like once put on, it fizzys up and basically goes into your skin! You can feel it working into your skin it kind of tickles your face abit! I leave it on for 10-20 minutes to get the full effect.








You can just put in your blackhead problem areas if you prefer but I like to just put it on as a full face mask.  After using it my face feels so refreshed and my skin can breathe!

I would recommend this is your having trouble finding something to minimize your pores.

Whistle Candy

A little over due on a post here.. but I have been working so hard lately I am trying to find a good balance between my work,blog,life,family... and me time! 24 hours in a day ;to fit all that in! No chance anyway...

I have always been a skincare/makeup person than more of a clothing one. I have not so long ago took a real big interest in clothing and finding different things I would never  normal pick to wear.

Like this Lisa Embroidered Tie Black Blouse from Whistle Candy its not something I would normally go for myself but I took a chance and it paid of! I am so glad I love x5 this top.

Also I really love the website, the clothing is amazing and prices cant be matched. I am heading to Mexico in 60 so days so I will be purchasing some outfits of these guys for sure.

 

How I would describe it is a sheer black that is lightweight. Has pretty embroidered all around it and has a tie around the neck which you can style as you please. Instead of just doing the normal tie and bow I decided to try and recreate a choker look. I think it looks really good and there is many more ways you could change it up!
